Here's our secret... |

Our
mattresses start with an all
steel coil unit. The more coils, the firmer
the mattress.
At Sunset Mattress Factory, we give you a choice of three
different firmnesses. |

We place a 3-ounce
insulation pad over the coils, on both sides of the
unit. Then, we hand sew an
eyelet border and bed handles on to your mattress.
(Queen and King sizes have handles on all four
sides.) |

Next, we place two layers of
COTTON FELT padding on both sides of the unit.
(We do not put foam in our innerspring mattresses.)
Our COTTON ticking is a grey
and white stripe ticking, which is sewn to the
border. |

The
mattress is ready to be tufted. HAND TUFTING,
with buttons, is a very important procedure.
It holds all materials in place so our mattresses
can be turned and flipped. This adds to the
life of the mattress. |

Now
for the box spring...
Our
box springs have SPRINGS, not just a foundation.
We use the same materials on box springs, as we use
on our mattresses. |

|
The
box spring covering is the same COTTON ticking. Our box springs are also
available in different firmnesses.
